This page explains what happens when you use the Support Finder and request a gentle starting point from Grief Recovery with Gwen.
What the Support Finder asks for
The guide asks about the kind of support that may be useful today. You can skip questions, and you never need to share the bereaved person's name, cause of death, or another sensitive detail. After the questions, we ask for a first name and email address only if you would like us to save and send your guide.
Optional answers stay optional
The broad location question is optional and never asks for an address. The optional written reflection is kept in the page while you are using the guide. In this MVP, it is not added to your contact record, survey trends, guide email, or marketing communications.
Your guide email and marketing emails
The email containing your personalised starting point is a separate, requested guide email. You can choose a different, unchecked box if you would also like occasional grief-support resources. That ongoing support choice is optional, is recorded separately, and can be withdrawn at any time.
How structured answers are used
We keep only structured, non-identifying signals such as broad needs, selected support preferences, broad location, matched support preferences, and which resource links were recommended. These signals help Gwen understand anonymised patterns in what people are looking for. They are not used to diagnose anyone or to decide what an individual person needs.
A support guide, not a clinical assessment
The Support Finder offers general grief information and possible starting points. It does not measure grief, assign a stage, diagnose a condition, or replace healthcare, counselling, or crisis support.
